I am so glad you're here! This is my little corner where I get to share some of my most favorite images from engagements, weddings, births, my travels and my own little family from time to time. Hang out, look around, and please reach out to say hello!
This time of year is so much fun for so many reasons! It’s a chance to wind down as the year comes to an end, it’s Christmas (my favorite season of the year!), there’s opportunity to look forward to a brand new year and new beginnings, and it’s also a time to look back at everything that’s happened over the last 12 months.
And one way I do that is by doing posts of my favorite photos from the year! In the past, I’ve done favorite wedding and engagement photos and sometimes families and other things we’ve worked on. But this year, since we were pretty much exclusively shooting weddings, I wanted to broaden the posts of my favorites to include other aspects of the wedding day. And what better way to start than with the details?!?
I’m always amazed at how my brides are able to incorporate such beautiful and meaningful details into their wedding. And I love that I get to show it off. So enjoy some of my favorites from the year!
Bonus points if you can guess (just from the image!) whose wedding each photo is from :-)
Some will be a tad more obvious than others!
I LOVE succulents and sweet grass roses… and when Ben suggested this shot for the bride’s earrings, I really wanted to kiss him!
The chandeliers in this dress photo make my heart leap!
A reception doesn’t have to be full of tiny details to be beautifully elegant…
Oh the lace! I was so happy to see so much lace at weddings this year!
Favorite. Dress. Ever.
(other than my own, of course)
Best toasting glasses ever!!
Oh the lines… it might not seem like much, but lines make my engineering heart happy!
I struggle with getting good photos of the bride’s earrings… but occasionally, God will give me a really fun idea (like the one on the right)!
I LOVE that Ben got this shot of the cakes at this wedding!
You know I was dying over this cake that was adorned with succulents…
