2018 Favorites | Engagements

Yes, the title is correct… these are some of my favorite engagement photos from 2018.  The end of last year was really rough with the sudden passing of my brother so when I would have normally been doing these posts a year ago, it was all I could do to get out of bed some days.

Thankfully the Lord is good and gracious, as are my amazing couples.  And even though it’s a year later, they still deserve to be celebrated!!  So this week (yes, as we jump into 2020), I’ll be sharing some of my favorite engagement, wedding and birth photos from 2018 :-)  I’ll even link to each original blog post if you’d like to dive deeper down into memory lane!

I’ll probably say it 100 more times before 2019 is over, but I’m so beyond thankful for each couple that trusts me to capture these memories for them.  I don’t take my job lightly and it seems the more I’m able to do it, the more I love it!  And the more sappy I become… I’m pretty sure I’ve cried more at weddings (and births!) in the past 2 years than I have in the previous 8 of my career.  But goodness, I wouldn’t trade it.  And my couples usually don’t seem to mind that I’m shedding some happy tears alongside them!
