A Stylized Attempt

This might be one of the latests posts I’ve ever blogged, but it’s my blog and that’s ok, right?? I’m in Charleston this week for a couple of reasons… Rachel & Andrew’s wedding is on Saturday, but some friends and I came from several different states to help Justin & Mary with their last Walk Through A Wedding of the year.  And since that was yesterday and the wedding is so close, I decided to just hang around for the week!  And other than Paris, there’s no other city I’d love to be “stuck in” for several days!

I want to do a more full blog post about helping out behind the scenes and watching Justin & Mary do their thing from a different perspective, but for now, I want to give you guys a quick peek at what went on yesterday… these two beautiful girls are awesome and after the three of us set everything up, they put on these beautiful gowns and modeled as bridesmaids for the workshop attendees! WalkThroughAWedding-Charleston-peek-101 And that table on the right?  Well, Justin & Mary brought everything with them, but the three of us put it together.  And I don’t mean to brag (too much anyway!), but it looked so good!  I’m not good at decorating. And putting things together to make them look pretty is not always my thing, but watching the bride put together her own bouquet for the shoot definitely gave us some confidence!  So my first attempt at stylizing something for a shoot came out WAY better than I ever imagined! Can’t wait to share more :-)

PS – you can see another sneak peek on Justin & Mary’s blog!
