It’s always so cute to me when couples are a tad shy to tell me how they met.  Because that generally means they met online, which is amazing because that’s how my husband and I met too!  So, it’s an instant bond that I get to share with my couples and I LOVE it!

Ashley and Heath met last summer and hit it off at once.  She was really nervous about their date, but from what they tell me, he was a perfect gentleman, even going as far as to pick her up to take her to dinner.  Regardless of what their nerves were like though, dinner made an impression because the same restaurant is catering their wedding!

Their proposal came as a complete surprise to her and it makes me smile thinking about them telling me the story.  He came by her house one afternoon as she was getting ready to leave and when she came down the stairs, there he was waiting on her with flowers and chocolate. He quickly got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!  It was an easy yes and it’s so clear how smitten they are with each other!

I was able to meet Ashley and Heath in downtown Greer one super chilly morning for their engagement session.  And while we may have been shivering, you can’t tell one bit in these photos.  I told them the snuggling they’d be doing would warm them up in no time!

The best part of this exact spot in Greer City Park is that beach music is generally playing through the speakers. So they easily stepped into some dance moves and Ashley’s smile tells you how much she loved it!

The sun began to pop out a bit after Ashley changed into this gorgeous green dress!

I’m so excited for these two and can’t wait for their wedding this October!
