Birthday Month | Intentional Home Adoption Giveaway

Ever since I changed my major in college and took the required speech class during summer school, adoption has been close to my heart.  My persuasive speech was about adoption and ever since then, I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind.  Ben and I hope to adopt one day, but we first want to see how things go with this little one we’re expecting! ha!  Just kidding.  We’ve been talking about it since we were dating and I can’t wait to meet the little one that God already knows will be a part of our family!

But until then, we get to love and support our friends who are walking this road.  So this year for my birthday, instead of doing a week of giveaways leading up to October 26, I’ve decided to help support these friends by giving away things that will help their adoption efforts throughout the month.

So first, I’d like to introduce you to my friends Karen & Isaac.  At this point in time, I’m not even sure how or when I first met them, but I know that I have the photography community to thank for it.  She has also started the Pursuit 31 ministry that you’ve heard me talk about and to see, hear, and know her heart for these women is to fall more in love with Jesus.  God has stretched her, moved her, and is carrying her through this and He continues to work through her in ways that she may never know!

Karen_Isaac_Stott_105 They have 3 precious little ones at home and now, they’ll be welcoming a sweet little one from Uganda to their family!!  I could not be more excited for them and all that God is doing.  You can keep up with them on her blog here: http://www.karenstottblog.com/ So how can we help support them?  Well, I know they covet prayers more than anything… for all the legal steps needed, for the two different governments involved, for the details of bringing their little one home, for all the funds that need to be raised.  But physically, we can help support them through Karen’s shop on Etsy (this one specifically).  So, to start us off, I’m going to give away one of the prints (winner’s choice!) on Thursday! IntentionalHomeEtsy

So, you have two days to enter.  Simply leave a comment below telling me which print is your favorite!  For an extra entry, follow Intentional Home on Instagram (I promise you won’t regret it! Plus, Karen is doing daily giveaways over there until the middle of the month!).  Just leave me a separate comment telling me you did so (honor system!).

My favorite is the sailboat. It reminds me of the importance of the small details when looking at the whole big picture.
