Ping Ting + Nick | Downtown Greenville Engagement Session

A savvy business woman in Singapore, Ping Ting was happy with where she was and what she was doing.  Her family was close and she’d had plenty of opportunity to travel and see the world.  So, when she took a vacation to Israel in 2010, she was thinking of nothing more than seeing the land where Christ walked.

But God always seems to have plans that we don’t expect.

Nick was flying from Greenville, SC to see Israel too and little did he expect to meet a beautiful woman and fall in love.  But as they ended up sitting next to each other on the bus and having plenty of time for conversation, they both knew that even in such a short amount of time that they wanted to stay in touch as they returned to their respective sides of the world.  After several trips around the globe for each of them, Nick gave Ping one of the most beautiful sapphire rings and asked that she become his wife.

Ping, I’m so excited that you are here in South Carolina and I’m beyond excited to photograph yours and Nick’s wedding in just a couple of weeks!  Thank you for spending an evening with me last week… it makes me that much more excited for your vineyard wedding and that it’s so soon!

I LOVE our downtown.  But Ping, you made it look even better than usual!

Huge thanks to Audrey and Anne Katherine at Wilson’s on Washington for Ping Ting’s hair and makeup!

Ping… you are stunning.

I feel like y’all just stepped out of a magazine… you’re both SO natural in front of my camera!

I love this one…

Dear Sun, thank you for coming back to Greenville. We photographers thank you!

Hello, gorgeous!

a couple that laughs together

Love the details.

Just beautiful!

I love that Nick wore a traditional shirt from Singapore for these photos. It’s such a part of their relationship and who they are as a couple… two worlds becoming one.

Love this one too!

Thank you for sharing these photos of my son and beautiful Ping. Downtown Greenville in the summertime is a wondrous backdrop for a wondrous couple.

  2. Nick Nalepa says:

Very nice, thank you! Especially like the fact that you caught Ping Ting laughing in several of these… not an easy thing to do! I think I like the photo of us side by side below the “Dear Sun…” caption the best. This was a lot of fun.

  3. Ping Ting says:

Thank you for the wonderful photos, Sabrina! You are so easy to work with and we had great fun having our photos taken in a beautiful setting. Looking forward to having you capture our wedding moments soon!

  4. Ashley Post says:
