Clay Riley | Patewood Medical | Greenville Birth Photographer

I was really hoping that Kendall would go into labor with baby #3 before I left for my trip to France.  Not only had I photographed her’s and William’s other two babies being born, but they were waiting to find out the gender for this one.  And selfishly, I wanted to be in the room when they found out if it was a boy or a girl!

So when she called me the Monday evening before I left on Wednesday to say she was in labor, I was so excited!  I headed up to the hospital after 11pm because things were progressing quickly and around 11:54pm, everyone squealed in delight to the sounds of “It’s a boy!”

Because it had been so late and we all wanted photos of Clay’s older siblings meeting him for the first time, we did a Fresh48 session the next morning.  Between his birth photos and some precious photos with his big brother and adoring big sister, you’ll see that sweet Clay has lots and lots of love coming his way as he grows up!

These are some of the most fun birth photos I’ve ever taken!

I was crying too (as usual) because Kendall’s sister is having a boy in a few weeks and when they said “it’s a boy” I immediately thought, “They’re going to be best friends!!” :-)

SO SO precious!

They arranged some things so that a friend was able to get some things monogrammed.  She and the lady who made the swaddles and gowns and things were the only ones who knew the gender!

Monday night was so sweet and Tuesday morning was just as precious!

Charlotte L O V E S her new baby brother!

I always love getting to see Mimi, especially when she’s holding her great grand babies.

  1. […] This sweet boy is SO loved.  His sister couldn’t get enough of him at the hospital when she met him and his brother wanted to hold him as much as possible during his newborn session!  If you haven’t seen them yet, be sure to check out Clay’s birth and Fresh48 sessions HERE. […]
