Leigh + Phillip | Christmas Engagement Session | Downtown Greenville

You may remember these two from a few months ago – you know, the proposal where Ben and I were SURE Leigh saw us before Phillip popped the question??  Turns out, she didn’t see us at all!  Whew!

Well, even though we did a mini engagement session for them that day, we wanted to do a real engagement session where there was no rush to get to a dinner-with-the-parents-which-was-actually-a-surprise-engagemen-party :-)  So when Phillip emailed saying they wanted Christmas photos in downtown Greenville with the lights and decorations, I warned him it wasn’t my forte, but I was up for whatever!  So, thank you guys for bearing with me as I figured out lighting and what looked best and even that one time my light stand was blown over by the wind!  (Huge thanks to Ben for staying as long as he could to hold said light stand!)

We are so excited for you guys and just can’t wait for your wedding in April.  It’s going to be a blast!

We met about 30 minutes before sunset to get a few natural light photos before bringing out the lighting.

I loved this bench and the lights all around it!

The one on the left is a favorite for sure!!

To the left of them is the skating rink… but since it was 70° outside, it was definitely a water rink.
PS – this might be one of my favorites too.  Phillip, do you SEE that smile you put on her face??

There’s just something magical about downtown at night…

You guys are just adorable!  Merry Christmas to you both!!
