I realize that there are far more important things in life and in this world than keeping up with technology.  However, since the debut of the iPhone way back when, I’ve been a step or two behind.  And it really hasn’t been that big of a deal until I try and upgrade to the latest operating system… which is why if you look on my phone right now, there’s that annoying little red balloon telling me that an upgrade is available.  But sorry, I just can’t do it.  My little iPhone 4s is having enough trouble keeping up with day to day needs and the last thing I need is for it to completely quit on me!

So, I’ve patiently waited and come a week from today, I’ll be skipping completely over the iPhone 5 and going straight for the 6.  It’s the first time I’ve done this with a phone… it’s also the first time I woke up in the middle of the night to order something like this!

It also seemed appropriate (at 4am) to order a case for it too.  I’ve never used Zazzle.com before, but I was able to put my new logo on it and it had the option to select the  “Case-Mate Tough Xtreme” which seemed like a good idea since I’m already dropping things more than I usually do and there’s a baby on the way. The only downside is that it won’t come in until the week after the phone is delivered.  So hopefully I can keep it in one piece for at least that long!

I went with the iPhone 6 (not plus!) silver 64GB… need the room for baby photos, right??
