Haley + Will | Westminister Presbyterian + The Piedmont Club Wedding | Spartanburg, SC

I texted Haley two days before the wedding and encouraged her to not worry about the weather.  The only thing I wanted her to be thinking about was that by 5:30pm on Saturday, she and Will would be husband and wife!  Her text back to me was one of the best responses I could have hoped for…. “I know!  It will all be great!”

And it was EXACTLY that!  Yes, it rained.  Yes, we pulled out all 16 of the clear umbrellas.  Yes, some of the wedding party got a little wet.  But everyone had SO much fun the entire day.  Myself included!  I’m still smiling ear to ear as I look through their photos and am so thrilled for Haley and Will and this adventure they’ve begun.  So much of their last several years was spent in two different countries so I know without a doubt how excited they are to be married and in the same place!

Haley and Will, I will be forever grateful that you asked me to capture this piece of your love story for you.  Both sides of your families are so fun and so welcoming!  Your wedding day was one for the books and I had so much fun celebrating with you on your first day as husband and wife.  Enjoy reliving the day through your photos.  It was difficult to narrow them down, but these are some of my favorites from the day!

Haley and Will opted to not see each other before the ceremony, but they wanted a
few minutes beforehand to connect and pray together around a corner.

And this is one of my favorites from the day!

These girls were the BEST!  It wasn’t raining by the time it was their turn for photos, but they didn’t skip a beat when I asked them to hold their dresses with one hand and walk out into some puddles.  I mean, look how gorgeous they are and how big those smiles are!  I’m telling you, they were rock stars!

Also, these groomsmen were fantastic.  It WAS actually raining when we did their photos (hence the umbrellas), but they didn’t question me either.  They did keep asking if they could keep the umbrellas though (sorry, guys!).

I LOVE this one of Will looking back at his dad… look how big their smiles are!

I adore those “We just got married!” smiles!

The Piedmont Club was built in 1893 so it’s a staple in Spartanburg.  It’s beautiful inside and out and Haley and Will’s wedding is the second wedding of three that I’ll photograph there for their family!  I love it!

The Clemson Tiger showing up at the reception was a huge surprise that Haley’s mom orchestrated… and the progression of these photos is the BEST!  Pam, awesome job!  I’d say they were really surprised!

The Mighty Kicks were amazing (as always) and had the dance floor PACKED the entire evening!

Many thanks to the incredibly talented vendors for making Haley + Will’s day as incredible as it was!
