I am so glad you're here! This is my little corner where I get to share some of my most favorite images from engagements, weddings, births, my travels and my own little family from time to time. Hang out, look around, and please reach out to say hello!
Holly radiates joy from the inside out. And there’s no question that her joy comes from Jesus. It’s so obvious with the way she cares for others, loves on those around her, and looks at the man God prepared for her. And Ben has that same joy, although it’s not as reserved as Holly’s might be! While Holly and her girls got ready for the day, there was lots of giggling, smiles, hugs and encouragement. The guys however, expressed their excitement through jokes and stunts and just doing what guys do (which I don’t know that I’ll ever fully understand)!
But one thing was for certain, when they saw each other for the first time, neither Holly or Ben could keep in the tears of joy and love that God has built between them. And it seemed to only grow as they day went by.
Holly and Ben were surrounded by friends and family from near and far on Saturday and it’s never been so obvious that two people are more loved, admired and cared for than these two are. Everywhere we turned, were smiles – JOYFUL smiles – that these two were becoming husband and wife and we could not have been more honored to be there and capture the day for them.
You guys… we are so thankful for you both. For not just trusting us to photograph your first day as husband and wife, but for loving us and showing us more of who God is through your love for each other. I hope you’re having and AMAZING time on that warm island of St. John’s! Soak up some sun for me and enjoy this peek at some of my favorites from the day!
Some might think it odd to get dressed in the hallway, but Holly said she trusted me and didn’t question it at all. The light and the details of this house made it worth it!
SUCH a beautiful bride!!
The new Mrs. Snyder!
I say it all the time, but I’m so thankful when a couple decides to see each other before the ceremony… not only is it an intimate moment (just the two of them) to soak in what this day is, but it helps the rest of the day go so smoothly. And even allows for some adventure that I get to share about in a minute!
He was SO excited to see her!
It may have been cold up on that mountain, but you would never know it from the photos…
And I know this is so similar to the photo above but I love them both! And their smiles and laughter are SO real!
But the truth is, it was pretty cold… and thankfully Holly was prepared with a GORGEOUS wrap to wear!
Their laughter and love was so evident all day long…
Oh my gosh, these girls were amazing!
These three have known each other for a long time… and they’ve all become wives within the last five months.
Thank you, girls, for allowing me to be a part of this fun time in your lives! God has, is and will do so much with all of you!
Oh my heavens… these guys! I turned around from photographing the girls and THIS was happening!
We finished with photos about an hour and fifteen minutes before the ceremony, which is a little more time than we usually have. So, I asked Holly and Ben if they’d be willing to go take a few more portraits in a couple of places I’d seen. They jumped up and were ready to go! So, we were able to get some incredible wintery photos before the ceremony because they trusted me and because we had the time. It was amazing and I hope they think the driving around was worth it… because I definitely do!
Ah! I love it!! Look at that ice!
Oh this spot? We actually had to turn around a couple of times to find it again, but these are some of my FAVORITES from the day!
So gorgeous, you guys…
And then it was time to make things official :-)
THEY’RE MARRIED!!
Gah! I love it!
I wish I could take credit for being hilariously funny all day, but these smiles were all them… they were SO excited to be husband and wife!
The reception was at the Cliff’s clubhouse and it was beautiful!
Each table number had a photo of Holly and Ben from when they were around that age. How creative is that??
Oh my goodness, Suzie did not disappoint with ANY of her flowers on Saturday! They were gorgeous!
Ben’s dad prayed over them before dinner was served and it turns out, it was the same prayer HIS dad prayed over him and Ben’s mom on their wedding day!
During dinner, we snuck outside for a few portraits at dusk… the sky was incredible!
And before the night was over, we had to get a photo of their d-group. I hope you girls are collecting these photos from each of your weddings! That would be such a fun collage!
Believe it or not, Holly was the one that smeared the cake first ;-)
Ben wasn’t the only one in tears during his brother’s toast… I may have been holding them back myself.
Thanks so much to everyone for making this day as wonderful as it was!

Oh Sabrina, the pictures are breath-taking!!! You have captured a love story in a way that allows people looking in the picture to feel the depth of what God has done in Ben and Holly’s life. Literally we have had people text us or send us FB messages saying they feel like they were there from looking at the pictures! Sabrina, God has given you an incredible gift of “seeing” and “capturing”.
The Snyder clan feels like you are part of our family! You brought everyone together on Saturday with charm and ease and helped make the day more special than it already was!!
I pray you are resting up now and getting ready for the gift God is bringing into your lives!!
Many thoughts and prayers,
Donna Snyder
