My husband and I met on eHarmony over 8 years ago now, so when couples tell me they met online, I’m not shocked, but I still feel like we’re kindred spirits!  And getting to spend time with MacKenzie and Scott only solidified that idea!

They met for their first date in downtown Greenville after she had gotten off a very long shift at work.  She doesn’t get much time off so her free days are like gold!  So when the first part of their date was going well and Scott asked her if she wanted to get a glass of wine to keep spending time together, she was 100% telling the truth when she said couldn’t because she needed to go to Target.

Granted, most every woman I know “needs” to go to Target at least a few times a week.  But, she legitimately needed to go for some things before going home and going to bed.  Scott didn’t believe her for a minute!  And at this point, he was D O N E.  Thankfully though, a friend of Scott’s who happened to know who MacKenzie was convinced him to give her a second chance.  And as they say, “The rest is history!”

We began their engagement photos at MacKenzie’s home because it’s where she’s most herself, her heart is at peace and she’s just content! (I may have asked if I could move in… it’s so beautiful!)

Their third date included a walk around the lake at Furman University so we headed there for the
second half of their session.  Even in mid-winter, it’s beautiful!

You guys, your September wedding is going to be AMAZING!! I’m so excited to celebrate with you!
