It’s a sacred space. A bride, a groom, an officiant and a photographer. And when the time came for their vows, the world around them slowed… it may have even stopped for that moment.
Marisol and David met at university 15 years ago! But it wasn’t their time. They reconnected in 2020 and began dating after that. When he proposed, they knew they wanted to get married in a beautifully intimate setting and the Rose Garden at Furman was exactly what they were looking for.
The best part? We found out the day before that their wedding day was also freshman move-in day! But when we arrived on campus and met in the Rose Garden, it was as peaceful and empty as if it were a student holiday.
I’m so thankful they had a peaceful and uninterrupted ceremony! It was beautifully sweet and we had ample time before and after they officially became husband and wife for portraits… so enjoy MANY of my favorites from their day!
