I am so glad you're here! This is my little corner where I get to share some of my most favorite images from engagements, weddings, births, my travels and my own little family from time to time. Hang out, look around, and please reach out to say hello!
My freshman year of college I was surrounded by all kinds of people at Clemson. And being an engineering major, a good majority of those people were guys. Now, some girls would LOVE this. And I thought I did too… until I realized that I wasn’t making that many friends that were girls and I knew that if I was going to make it through college with my head still on straight that I needed a solid group of girls that I could lean on, be accountable with and to, and ones that could pray for me and I could pray for them. I knew FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) had freshman bible studies so I picked one that was meeting on a night and in a location that worked for me. It was meeting in the evening in the basement of the freshman girls dorm and while I wasn’t living in that dorm first semester, it was right next door.
Little did I know that walking in there that first time, nervous and shy and a little unsure, that I was meeting LIFELONG friends. These girls have been my strength, have prayed for me more than almost anyone (other than my mom :-)), they’ve made me laugh SO much over the years, and I really can’t imagine my life without them. We’ve been in each others’ weddings, we’ve met babies in the hospital, we’ve walked through one of those babies having a brain tumor, we’ve walked through parents with cancer, we’ve celebrated new jobs, we’ve been excited about trips each of us have taken… and I can’t WAIT to see what the rest of our lives bring.
This past weekend we had our annual trip where we come with husbands and babies (if they’re under a year old!) and do as little as possible :-) This year was our first year at the beach and if I say so myself, we’re all super excited about this new location!
Thank you girls for such an amazing weekend, but more importantly, thank you for being SUCH a big part of my life! I love each of you more than I’ll ever be able to tell you or show you.
