I am so glad you're here! This is my little corner where I get to share some of my most favorite images from engagements, weddings, births, my travels and my own little family from time to time. Hang out, look around, and please reach out to say hello!
We were twisting and turning up a mountain and missed the first entrance to Song Hill Reserve, but we easily found the second and then slowly found our way up another twisty road to the bridal cabin. We had never been up to this spot before, but when Kristen’s sister, Beth, had posted a picture the night before, my mouth fell to the floor. And when we arrived at the top of this mountain, my mouth fell to the floor again. It’s. just. gorgeous. After the downpour the night before, we had all be praying for no rain last Friday. All of us wanted a beautiful day for the wedding. And even though there were a few clouds floating by, not a drop of rain fell on anyone that day. It was perfect.
When we got into the cabin to start capturing their wedding day, the entire wedding party was inside and hanging out – in their respective parts of the cabin :-) The atmosphere was so relaxed and you would have had better luck growing wings than wiping the smiles off of Kristen and Brad’s faces. Beth did Kristen’s makeup while the guys played cards. Kristen put on her dress and immediately asked if it was time to see Brad! When I asked her for three minutes to get Brad outside and situated, she asked for it to be 30 seconds. She was ready! And once you see the two of them, you’ll understand… they are so in love and head over heels for one another… which made our job of photographing their day that much more fun! Their day was full of family, lots of friends, and even more laughter and hugs. They vowed to love each other and to serve each other. He vowed to provide for her and to protect her. She vowed to support him and to help him. They prayed for Christ to remain the center of their marriage and then were pronounced as husband and wife!
They celebrated just down the mountain in a tucked away spot, eating and dancing the night away. Thank you guys for allowing us to be a part of your day. We had so much fun with you and watching you as you stepped into this next adventure! I hope you’re having fun on your mystery honeymoon! Brad, I’m so impressed you were able to keep it from her all this time! Can’t wait to hear about it!
Her engagement ring is from Brad’s side of the family and the diamonds in her wedding band are from a ring her grandmother gave her. I love the sentiment!
Would you look at that view…
Kristen! Your eyes are gorgeous!
I LOVE this picture of her. Love it.
They decided to do a First Look, for which I was so excited for.
You don’t get these kind of moments when you walk down the aisle!
L.O.V.E.
Kristen! Oh my heavens. You are just beautiful!
Canvas!
Girl, you are so fierce. And super stunning.
And these girls? Well, they are amazing. And were so much fun!
Confession… I’ve been anti-pink for the past 20 years. But I realized not too long ago that I actually love it.
Do you see the COLOR in this picture?? It’s just to die for.
And the flowers? Gorgeous. James Kean-Grossman in Greer did an incredible job.
I’d never seen this for a guest book before… they had two of them! I love the idea!
If you’re wondering whether the moment of walking down the aisle will be lost because of seeing each
other before the ceremony, the tear falling down Brad’s face should reassure you.
Would you look at that view??
Kristen’s dad walked her down the aisle, gave her away…
…and then performed the ceremony.
This might be one of my new favorite venues.
Sometimes it’s easy to get tongue tied when saying your vows.
And the best thing to do is to laugh about it!
MARRIED!!
After most of the guests had made their way down to the reception, we went back out for some more portraits.
These two were up for anything and were just fine being together as I snapped away.
Ben snuck away the moment the ceremony ended to get some shots of the reception before everyone started arriving.
Mary’s Kitchen Catering and Lisa of Marvelous Pies did a FANTASTIC job with dinner and dessert!
I’m a little jealous of these detail shots that Ben got :-)
Bea-u-ti-ful.
Some toasts and dancing were a big part of the evening!
Congratulations again, Kristen and Brad!!
SO AWESOME!!! Beautiful scenery, Beautiful Bride, Handsome Groom and FABULOUS MOMENTS! Congratulations Kristen and Brad!

What a perfect wedding and reception…great pics to capture it!
I could not be happier for the both of them. What a beautiful wedding and overall happiness for the whole group of friends and relatives. Congratulations Brad and Kristen. Can’t wait to see you. Mom
Okay, could they be any more beautiful together? And what a perfect place to get married! You captured beautiful moments!
Such a beautiful, blessed, and Holy day. I am so happy for both Kristen and Brad. As I told Kristen, this was the most beautiful Holy wedding I have been to since my own almost 18 years ago. May the Lord, God bless them abundantly.
ps I have a special love for the picture of the empty reception; if you look closely, my daughter and I are sitting on the bench to the right and my two sons are at the other end of the pond checking for frogs and toads. We had taken the first limo-bus ride to the reception and it was a breathtaking view. Everything was so beautiful.
Beautiful Bride, Handsome Groom and a great location! Sorry we couldn’t be there in person, but our prayers and thoughts were. Wish you all the best! Blessings
Beautiful….much happiness. God bless you both. Luv U bunches
Absolutely gorgeous wedding among God’s amazing creation. Congrats Kristen and Brad!
