My heart goes out to all of you who have big dreams and the passion to back it, but don’t know how to get there.   It took me a long time, many tears, much confusion, and a TON of money to get me to where I am today.  If I had only had someone to show me the ropes, answer my questions, and show me the way when I was starting out.  I can’t even imagine how much money I would have in my pocket and how much heartache that would’ve saved me.   Not to mention it would’ve made the road A LOT shorter! 

While I feel like I could have written this myself, it comes from Karen Stott, the founder of Pursuit 31, an incredible ministry that I discovered last year and am SO blessed to be a part of.  She goes on to say this…

This coming October 8-11, Pursuit 31 will be hosting their second conference at the Winshape Retreat Center in Mt. Berry, Ga. and I am so excited to be going this October.  The four day retreat will consist of time away, time to reflect, time to hang out with some amazing women in the photography world, time to hang out with old friends and meet new ones, they’ll be having a stylized shoot this year (woohoo!), as well as several classes to focus on anything from branding to managing an in-home studio/office to how to run a business with kids at home.  And the best part?  It doesn’t matter whether you’re picking up a camera for the first time today or you’ve been working at your business for the past 10 years or more… all are welcome!

I’m also SUPER excited about the women that will be teaching and leading.  I’ve had the honor to meet and get to know some of these women and let me just tell you… you will be beyond blessed by hearing from their hearts about their lives, their faith, and their own journeys in the world of photography.
