On a crisp Sunday April afternoon, Matt guided Ashley into Falls Park.  They were supposedly early for their dinner reservations to celebrate her birthday but it was a ruse.

Matt had contacted me several weeks before and everything was planned.

And it all unfolded flawlessly!

He walked Ashley to the park overlooking the river and Liberty Bridge.  As he pulled the ring box out of his pocket, he went down on one knee, asking her to be his wife.

Ashley was in surprise and in tears!  And not only was the weather incredible, but the spot he had picked out was free of crowds at just the right moment!

Standing directly behind him, I had the perfect view of Ashley’s reactions AND was able to capture Matt pulling the ring from his pocket.

After a few minutes, Matt led the way towards a more secluded spot and away from the crowds.

Matt, you made the right call to not only savor this first hour of being engaged for just the two of you, but also to have me there to capture it all!
