They’ve been together for ages… in fact, Clark’s mom dropped him off for their first date because he couldn’t drive yet!  But that first date at Chick-fil-A so long ago was just the beginning of making a lifetime of memories together.

They studied for AP Biology tests together, she watched him play high school basketball, they went to high school dances together, they ended up at Clemson together and continued to grow up together.  Last fall, when Clark told Becca they were going to a semi-formal at Clemson and wouldn’t give her more details as she asked for them, she thought it was just “a typical boy thing”.

The ONLY clue she had the entire time that something was happening was when he refused to give her his jacket at dinner when she was cold.  As it turns out, the ring was in the pocket and he didn’t want her to find it.

As they walked to “see the golf course renovations” he began talking with her about their relationship and she knew.  The tears came and Becca soaked in every second!  When he asked her to marry him, she immediately said yes and he whisked her away to an engagement party that he’d planned.

To be clear, there never was a semi-formal!
