Since their first date when they walked the Swamp Rabbit Trail, Kelsey and Robby have spent hours upon hours outside together.  So it only made sense that their engagement photos also include the great outdoors!

When we first scheduled their engagement session, we had planned on taking a trip to the mountains in western North Carolina.  However, a little storm named Helene had her own plans that same day.

My last text to Kelsey the night before the storm was, “I say we go for it and if anything, we can shoot more on the trails than at the top of the mountain if it’s too windy.”

We all drastically underestimated what that storm would bring.  But what I’m thankful for is how kind, patient and gracious Kelsey and Robby were with the entire situation.  I’m so grateful for being able to meet and work with the most incredible people!
