This wedding was a little extra special. Mikeila is oldest of my husband’s nieces and nephews. So when Ben and I got married, Mikeila became my niece too :-) She was 8 years old back then, so I truly have had the joy of watching her grow up!
Mikeila is kind and thoughtful, finds her joy in the Lord, loves others so well and is just fun to be around! And now adding Bryan to double those qualities is such a gift! He brings his own energy but the same love for the Lord. And he adores Mikeila!
They thought through so much for their wedding day. There were different aspects to honor her Paraguayan side and some things to honor his Brazilian side. His dad began with Portuguese then her dad conducted the ceremony in English and Spanish. It was beautiful!
Each guest was greeted at their dinner table with their name card, but on the inside of each one, Mikeila wrote a personal note!
They ended the night with dinner, signing the marriage license in front of everyone, a photo with every guest and then dancing. Watching the floor FULL of people singing and dancing to worship music was something I’ll never forget.
Mikeila and Bryan, you two are so adored by everyone that knows you and we are all SO HAPPY for you both! Thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding day for you. Even if I’m biased, it’s still going to be one of my favorite weddings ever!
The dried petals are from flowers Bryan had sent Mikeila over the years. I’m so impressed she kept them!
Both sets of parents – I just love this photo of all 6 of them!
I also am a big fan of the sibling photo below!
The flower girls (my daughters!) tossed dried petals from the flowers Bryan had sent Mikeila over the years.
Mikeila’s Aunt Jenna played her Paraguayan harp before the ceremony.
I will never get over the weather from this day. It was the end of August but the temperature was so mild and everything was just beautiful!
During the ceremony, while the wedding party prayed over them, Mikeila’s and Bryan’s sisters sang The Blessing.
The flower girls were SO sad that their cousin would be moving to another state soon.
It was the sweetest and most pitiful thing you’ve ever seen!
I had not seen a Tie Auction before, but the hype these guys had for Bryan was incredible!
You guys know I’m a big fan of a private last dance.
Your wedding day goes by so quickly and these last few minutes are such a sweet way to soak in every last moment.
Many thanks to the incredibly talented family and vendors for making Mikeila and Bryan’s day unforgettable!
