Thankful Thursday | Pursuit 31 Conference

If you follow me on Twitter and/or Instagram, you’ve probably seen plenty of photos by now of Winshape and all the happenings at the Pursuit 31 Conference that I’m attending.  And if you’d like to see more, all you have to do is look for the hashtag #P31Conference2013!

I’m actually posting this on Tuesday and am about to walk out the door to go and spend 4 days with ladies from around the country… ladies who aren’t just photographers and creatives, but moms, sisters, daughters, friends and believers in Christ.  We’ll spend our week listening to others from our industry talk about business and ideas and God.  And one of the things I’m most excited about (other than the fun soiree and getting dressed up – or down!) is the time we’ll spend together in worship.  I may not be the best singer in the world, but I LOVE to sing!  And getting the chance to sing with 150 other women this week is only going to be one of the few highlights.

And aside from the amazing speakers, the shoots we’ll have, the gorgeous campus we’re staying on and all that we’ll learn, I’m excited to see what this time next week will look like.  I’m excited to see how God is going to move this week and how that’s going to affect my days next week… and next month… I’m excited to see how the things He speaks to me are going to affect my relationships, my marriage and my business.

I’m so thankful for all of the hard work these leaders have put into this week.  I’m so thankful for my amazing husband who has been so encouraging and excited for me to be gone for a week to attend this conference.  I’m so thankful for a God who can bring women from all walks of life into a small community for 4 days to do amazing things.  And I’m so thankful for each of you who reads this blog, who trusts me to capture your lives and memories, and who encourage me so much EACH day.  I can’t wait to share all that’s happened this week after I get home!
