If not for each of the faces in these photos, I would not have the chance to do what I do. This past year (the last few days included), they have brought joy, laughter, and happy/thankful tears to my life that I was not expecting but could not imagine my 2015 without. These brides – and their grooms too – are such amazingly special people and the fact that I had the honor of being the one to document their day is truly humbling. The photos that I’m able to deliver to my couples will be the ones they look back on for the rest of their lives, the images that will evoke emotion, memories, laughter, and awe as they grow old together, raise children together, travel together, go through hard times and soar through the clouds together. And I was able to be there on the very first day of their adventure.
So to each of you, thank you. I honestly and gratefully thank the Lord for each of you, for the ways you’ve brought me into your families, for how you’ve trusted me to capture your memories, and trusted me again when I asked you to do strange things for photos because I knew it would be worth it for the shot (hopefully you still trusted me after seeing those images!).
Much love as you guys celebrate your first of many anniversaries in 2016!!
