It seemed like no one could hold back the tears on Amy and Andrew’s wedding day! From the moment I walked into the house where the girls were getting ready, talk of tears and not ruining freshly applied make-up was in the air. But they were all tears of complete joy and by the time Amy put her veil on and walked toward the Avenue of Oaks at Boone Hall Plantation to see her groom, all caution was thrown to the wind.
Both Amy and Andrew were so full of anticipation that the moment she saw him come around the corner, she drew a deep breath and tears finally escaped her eyes.
These two bring each other so much joy and it was evident from everyone that came to celebrate with them that everyone felt this way too! Not to mention that we were in Charleston amongst the most dreamy Spanish Moss and some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen.
Amy and Andrew, thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding day in photos. It was an incredibly gorgeous day and I hope you enjoy reliving it through some of my favorite images!!
A huge thanks to Caroline Howard for second shooting with me. So thankful for her!!
These rose gold Tieks were the perfect touch for Amy’s wedding day!
I have to give Amy’s Maw Maw props for this shot… she kept me company while I photographed details and gave me the idea for this photo!
And I love it.
There are so many nooks and crannies for photos at Boone Hall.
I feel like I could have photographed there for a full weekend and still had locations to spare!
Oh but the Spanish Moss has my heart…
Neither one of them could hold back the tears!!
Amy, you are just STUNNING!
This wedding party was amazing. So incredible in front of the camera and so much fun!
I posted this photo on Instagram the other day because I’m STILL dying over these peonies. They were gorgeous… and HUGE!
Not to mention that I loved Amy and Andrew’s colors!!
Be still my heart…
The ceremony was out on the Cotton Dock and it was so beautiful!
Just look at that view!
Every piece of their day was breathtaking.
Oh how I love cathedral length veils!
I’m not sure if y’all are ready to see their reception… it was so beautiful that we could barely stop photographing it all.
Kellie of Jubilee Weddings and Natalia of Tailor & Table truly outdid themselves.
The new Mr. & Mrs!
Amy surprised her dad with a disco-type song (apparently he was quite the disco king!) and wasn’t sure how he was going to respond…
but he owned it and loved every minute!
We snuck out to capture the last bit of light before the sun went down…
Love!
Even at night, this place is magical.
If you’re looking for a band, 17 South is amazing!
They covered lots of oldies and some current stuff, but Caroline and I both were dancing alongside everyone else all night!
When the cake smash doesn’t go quite as the bride planned… :-)
Just one last dip…
And see?? Still dreamy.
A thousand thanks to the incredibly talented team of vendors who made Amy + Andrew’s wedding so incredible!
