I am so glad you're here! This is my little corner where I get to share some of my most favorite images from engagements, weddings, births, my travels and my own little family from time to time. Hang out, look around, and please reach out to say hello!
It may sound cheesy and cliché, but I really am SO thankful for each and every person that steps in front of my camera. It’s been about 10 years since I first photographed a family with the intention of doing this as my job one day and if not for each and every one of those people, I wouldn’t be getting to do this thing that doesn’t even feel like a job sometimes!
Yes, my primary focus is on weddings and births. But having the chance to get families in front of my camera every once in a while – like for these mini sessions – actually helps my creativity! Plus, it gives me a chance to laugh my head off when kids do amazingly hilarious things. You’ll see what I mean below :-)
Love getting to see these two and their sweet boy… who is growing way too fast!
I first met Nora just before they were married when she did a bridal session for me (meaning I photographed her, but I had been looking for a bride to photograph so it worked out perfectly!). It’s been really sweet to watch our families grow since then and to see all that the Lord has done in our businesses. If you haven’t started following (or ordering) Nora’s cookies yet, stop everything you’re doing and go do that now! She’s on Facebook HERE and on Instagram HERE.
These three SLAY me!
Also, I’m like REALLY proud of this photo. This family is amazing, but getting 6 children to look “towards” the camera with pleasant smiles on their faces is no small feat, my friends.
I wanted to (and should have) fist bumped every single one of them after we got this!
Julia and Stephen just celebrated their 5th anniversary and I’m so glad getting back in front of my camera was a part of their celebrating! They’re still so much fun :-)
These two below are our super awesome next door neighbors. I asked them to hop over to the little field for a few photos and I’m so glad they were able to come! Our girls love them and get so excited if we’re outside when they get home from work in the afternoons. Especially when they bring their dog out for a walk (well, it’s a love/terrified-of-him relationship, ha!).
And last, but not least, this sweet family has been trusting me since their Charleston plantation wedding in 2016.
If you’d like to relive it (like I love to do!), you can see their wedding HERE.
