Ansley + Zach | A First Baptist Spartanburg + Indigo Hall Wedding

One of the first things Ansley and Zach told me about them when we first talked over a year ago was that both of them had lost their dads… so the fact that I’d lost mine too immediately gave the three of us a bond. I also photographed their engagement session the week before my brother passed away last year and they were so incredibly gracious as I took longer than usual to edit and deliver their photos to them.

Ansley and Zach, I’m so thrilled for the two of you! Your wedding day, even with the rain, was so much fun and so meaningful and will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for allowing me to join in on the celebrations and capture your day through photos. Getting to spend the day with you both, your incredible friends and your loving families was the perfect way to begin the weekend before Thanksgiving!

Ansley’s dad’s cousin has been like a father to her, so she did a first look with him since he walked her down the aisle.
He then gifted her with a beautiful little guardian angel.

I love that they still had some beautiful fall colors in the background of their photos…
but I also adore the color green and couldn’t get over the bridesmaid dresses!
