I am so glad you're here! This is my little corner where I get to share some of my most favorite images from engagements, weddings, births, my travels and my own little family from time to time. Hang out, look around, and please reach out to say hello!
At the beginning of October, Andrew emailed saying he was planning a surprise vow renewal for Rachel. Their 5th wedding anniversary was going to be on November 15 and with the help of his sister-in-law, Crystal, planned everything, including a lunch and family photos!
As the week drew closer though, the forecast was not looking promising for Friday morning. Thankfully everyone was able to change plans fairly last minute and we met up mid-afternoon… exactly 5 years after their first look on their wedding day!
It was overcast and chilly, but it only made the fall colors show off even more than they already were. Rachel knew that photos were happening (so she was ready!), but that was ALL Andrew had told her. She didn’t even know that I would be there :-) We met in the small Japanese garden where Andrew had proposed and they promised their lives to each other all over again. It was beautiful and teary (I was wiping away tears too) in the best way possible.
You guys, thank you for asking me to be a part of your journey and to capture your memories along the way. I always love getting to see you and your families! Congratulations (all over again!)! I hope you enjoy some of my favorites!
Andrew even surprised Rachel with a brand new diamond!
I know these next two are pretty much the same, but seeing the second
image after the first brings a smile to my face every time!
We then wandered over to meet their families and I loved getting to see everyone again…
and to meet Andrew and Rachel’s boys!
The best part about seagrass flowers from Charleston in your bouquet is that you’re
able to keep them and they look just as beautiful as the day you first said I Do!
