Rob completely blindsided Bailee in the best way possible.
So when he called Bailee one day and casually mentioned they’d be joining a donor for dinner downtown, she didn’t think twice. It wasn’t unusual, and the explanation made perfect sense.
What was a little unexpected? The hotel room.
He explained that the donor had a last-minute change of plans. The room had already been paid for, and rather than let it go to waste, it was theirs for the night. Bailee was pleasantly surprised, thinking it was just a lucky twist to a routine evening.
Once they arrived at the hotel, he suggested they step out onto the balcony for a quick photo, which is something they always do on trips, so Bailee thought nothing of it. Rob set up the phone, made sure it was steady, and joined her. Only… it wasn’t set to photo mode.
It was recording.
And that’s when Rob asked her to marry him.
The dinner? A total ruse. There was no donor, no meeting and no fancy dinner plans. There was only an incredibly thoughtful, carefully crafted plan to catch Bailee completely off-guard in the most magical way.
