Colleen + Andrew | Charlyn Farms | Greenville Wedding

Colleen and Andrew’s pastor shared a little about their faith journeys during their ceremony.  Hearing how both of them had come back to the Lord in recent years brought tears of joy to my eyes and made me even more grateful to be a part of such an important day.

Between their ceremony, first dances that tugged at heart strings and toasts that made everyone cry, I don’t think there was anyone present who didn’t shed at least one tear that day.

Andrew lost his mom when he was younger and lost one of his brothers a couple of years ago.  So as his older sister stepped in to dance with him, I could only hold back the tears for a handful of seconds.  Colleen then danced a sweet dance with her new father-in-law.  And during toasts, each groomsman, bridesmaid and brother that stepped up to toast the new couple spoke of their love for each other, those around them and the support Colleen and Andrew have been over the years.

Colleen and Andrew are SO loved.  And you’ll be able to see in their photos not only their love for one another and how excited they were to become husband and wife, but how much they love their people.

Thank you both for trusting me to photograph your day for you, for letting me in on your stories and allowing me to celebrate you!  Enjoy walking back through your wedding day via some of my (many!) favorite photos!

By the time Colleen put her dress on, everything quickly became very real!!

These ladies were all so wonderful!!  And beautiful!

There had been rain in the forecast all week.  And we were prepared for it.  But not a drop fell the entire day!

Colleen’s excitement after their first kiss makes me smile every time I look at this photo!

I just couldn’t get enough of the kiddos… or Colleen’s sweet grandma!

This space was so lovely.  And the light coming in was beautiful!

It’s rare that I get through a father/daughter dance without crying (ever since I had my own baby girls, this part of a wedding day gets me!).

But then Kelly stepped in to dance with her brother and I was thankful for my camera to hide my tears!

Yes, there were a lot of toasts.  But I’ve never witnessed so much love during this part of a wedding day.
All of the words and sentiments were beautiful!

This car… it’s a 1950s classic Corvette.
Andrew saw a guy driving it one day and flagged him down to ask if they could use it on their wedding day as their getaway car.  The owner said he had guts to do something like that so he said yes!!  I’m not sure if I could have been so bold, but you guys… it totally paid off!!

So many thanks to Colleen + Andrew’s vendors… the day wouldn’t have been as perfect without them!
