This session is actually a dual purpose one… David and Kristin celebrated their anniversary at the beginning of January and when we found out that they were expecting (just 10 days after us!), I suggested an anniversary/maternity session so we could celebrate both amazing things at the same time!  I’m sure it was quite a funny sight for one 9 month pregnant woman to be taking photos of another 9 month pregnant woman :-)  But it was so much fun and totally worth it.

My only requirement though was that we have SUNNY SKIES for their session!  Their engagement session two years ago almost got rained out (in fact, it began to drizzle as we were wrapping up).  And then, on their wedding day last year in Chicago, it SNOWED!  Both of those occasions gave us some gorgeous photos but I wanted them to have at least some pictures with sun in the sky!  It was a chilly day in downtown Greenville, but the sky was beautiful and exactly what we wanted!

David and Kristin, we could not be more excited for you guys!  And what fun to walk through this season of life with you.  Baby Catherine can’t wait to meet your sweet little boy (and neither can we!).

This… this one is my favorite from the session.  Kristin has those BEAUTIFUL eyes that welcome you in and David knows how to love her so well.  You guys are going to be SUCH amazing parents!

I’ll end with this one… I like to call this spot my “little piece of Charleston in Greenville”!
