In case you haven’t noticed, my blog posts have been a tad more sporadic lately.  I’ve been trying to do at least 3 posts a week but it’s been more difficult than I thought it would be!  Between my short attention span, frequent breaks to get up and walk around (because sitting or even standing for too long just becomes painful), trying to figure out what to do with all of the fun baby things we’ve acquired, and my short attention span which causes me to easily get distracted, I haven’t been as productive recently as I normally am!  (Pregnancy brain anyone??)  But as I’ve said before, this season of life is about giving myself grace and not expecting perfection…. which I’m sure will extend into the next season with kids because from what I hear, pregnancy brain becomes mommy brain!

My sessions are now finished and I have one more to edit before this baby girl arrives.  I’ll have it posted by Friday, but I had to share a little sneak peek because my photographer friend Kim let me borrow these letters and I LOVE them!

So what are my plans for maternity leave?  Well, my goal is to keep blogging about 3 times a week until baby Catherine’s arrival.  I’m still communicating and meeting with potential brides and working on a few projects for church and our business.  Once this sweet girl makes her debut though, I’ll put up a post announcing her arrival and will probably lay low for at least a couple of weeks.  Our first wedding is April 25, but I do have several sessions that I’ll do before then.  But I think that will be good to slowly get back into things before we spend a full Saturday at a wedding :-)

Thank you all so much for being patient with me and the crazy blog post schedule recently.  I love this part of my business and getting to share different things about photography, my life, in addition to the sessions and weddings that we’ve photograph.
