It’s the first weekend in a while that neither Ben or I have a wedding!  Don’t get me wrong, we love what we do and it’s energizing to photograph or video wedding days.  Marriage is a really big deal to us so being able to document the first day of a couple’s marriage is a huge honor!

However, it’s healthy for us to have some down time every once in a while.  So we are excited to have a weekend off together with very little on the calendar!  Plus, Ben has Monday OFF from work so I’m officially taking Monday off too.  Trust me, it’s so much better for our clients that we have weekends and days off like this from time to time.  Being away from what we do actually helps the creativity juices recharge and flow better :-)

So have an amazing 4th of July weekend!  Whether you’re going to the lake, grilling out at home, or shooting off fireworks, be safe and enjoy your weekend with friends and family!
