Families | Furman in the Spring

Sarah contacted me because her husband’s sister-in-law is the sister of one of my closest friends from college.  Did you follow that??  Bonus points if you did!  Well, the day we ended up meeting at Furman was so beautiful!  Unfortunately, her husband had a last minute work thing, but she was ok with it because she wanted to capture her son, Jackson, where he is right now at this point in his life.  At 18 months, he’s a busy little boy.  Even when not feeling so well with allergies, he had a lot going on and did not have time to sit still for pictures!  But that’s the best part of these kinds of sessions.  Not only do I get an extra workout for chasing this adorable little man around, but Sarah and her family will look back and remember what he was like and what he was doing at just 18 months old.  So, please enjoy some of my favorites!

Believe it or not, the image on the left was the very first shot we took!

The other thing about Sarah? Well, turns out that before she got married, she was roommates with another good friend of mine from church!
And this is where we started singing, “It’s a small world after all…” Just kidding.

Since he wasn’t feeling his best, he was a little more snuggly than normal.  But oh, what sweet pictures!

Jackson and his red wagon gained some miles during our session that afternoon!

I would love to know what was going through his head in the image on the right… :-)

These next two are my absolute favorites.

He was getting tired… and tired of the camera following him around!

Crashing at the end of a grueling modeling session :-)
