I had a brilliant idea this morning… well, it may have been simmering for a little while but it only came to me this morning while we were eating breakfast on how to pull it off.  This blog isn’t just to showcase weddings that we have the honor of photographing.  It’s also a place where I talk about photography, post engagement sessions, as well as things going on in our lives such as our own wedding or trips that we take.  But I want it to also be a resource for brides and grooms!  There are several posts that apply to that last category but there wasn’t an easy way to find them all.  Until now!  And I hope to keep building this category so that this blog – whether you book us capture your wedding or not – can be a resource for anyone out there getting married.

Even though I’d been in the wedding industry for a few years when we walked down the aisle ourselves, planning our own wedding was like being in a foreign country without a map and not fully speaking the language.  It was scary.  So if I can help couples out there by giving them a non-intimidating place to find out what they need to do and when, I want to provide that!  So, now it’s here.  And it’s really easy to find.  Just go to the Category tab above and click the link For Brides & Grooms and voilà!

Then, it will bring up this page below and you can just hover over each one to see what that post is about!

I’m so looking forward to continuing to build this up.  It may not be once a week or even every couple of weeks, but I know that once wedding season begins that I’ll probably be flooded with ideas!  So be on the lookout :-)
