I am so glad you're here! This is my little corner where I get to share some of my most favorite images from engagements, weddings, births, my travels and my own little family from time to time. Hang out, look around, and please reach out to say hello!
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen a few posts with the hashtag #SabrinaToChicago. It was such a fun and crazy quick trip, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat! One of our 2015 couples lives up in Chicago so when we started talking about their engagement session, we decided it would be really amazing to get these photos in THEIR city. And I can’t wait to share those images with you guys! Ah! I could have shot up there all day… and we almost did!
This trip was far different from the last one I had to Chicago, mainly since it was about 70-100° warmer this time! Back in January, we were caught in the polar vortex that went through the midwest and it was -40°F at one point during the night. It was crazy. So, while we were a bit cold Saturday night, it was still way warmer than it was 8 months ago!
When I got to the Atlanta airport Saturday morning, I was looking for the Chick-fil-A in Concourse A because I can’t ever remember what direction to go when I get off the “plane train”. Well, much to my delight, I got two surprises! ATL has added another Chick-fil-A in Concourse C! Not only that, but I’d forgotten that the airport also had The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, which Ben and I discovered in Santa Barbara earlier this year. It was a good morning for food!
So, not only did I get my chai latte from there on my trip up on Saturday, but I got another one when I landed on my trip home Sunday. I might be a little obsessed, but I didn’t think I was going to see that coffee shop for quite a while so I wanted to take advantage!
This picture below? Well, it almost didn’t happen, but I’m so glad it did! As we were finishing up photos of he and Ashley he asked if I wanted a picture with the city in the background. I think I shocked him a little when I handed him my camera instead of my phone, but he nailed this! So now I have a picture of me and Baby Fields in Chicago… without a winter coat on!
