It’s supposed to hit upwards of 95+ degrees today.  Yikes.  So when one of my couples who are delivering their baby boy in a couple of months agreed to do a sunrise session for their maternity photos, I think we were all a little relieved!  We’ve actually had to reschedule several times because of all of the rain we’ve been getting this month, but I think it was worth the wait.  The light was BEAUTIFUL this morning and none of us started to sweat until we were taking our last few shots.  It was perfect!

This weekend was packed full of adventure including Catherine’s first baseball game on Friday night and shooting our first June wedding on Saturday.  I can’t wait to share this wedding with you either.  The bride’s family has been friends of my family’s for a long time so it was an extra special day for me!

But, I have to brag on my little girl for a minute before I let you continue on with your Monday… when we first arrived at the game, the sun was directly in our faces and it was HOT.  So, Ben took Catherine into the shade and walked her around for a little bit.  Once the sun set though, she was golden!  She watched everything going on, she sat with my mom for a little bit, she sat with some of the girls from our community group for a while and when it was time for the fireworks, she was enthralled!  We had no idea how she was going to react, but she couldn’t take her eyes off of them.  The photo of her watching the fireworks is a grainy and slightly out of focus iPhone picture, but I love it because it’s a memory that I won’t ever forget.
