I believe it was one of my aunts that sent me a copy of this not long before our wedding.  My mom has always been good about writing on the back of prints so that we know who’s in it, where it was taken, and what the date was.  This particular one is of my mom and my brother and it was taken on May 9, 1982 in Virginia.  He was just 10 days old!  But underneath all of that, mom also wrote “Sabrina took this picture.”  Beneath that, my aunt wrote “The beginning of your career as a photographer!”

I’m actually pretty impressed that I took an in-focus and not completely crooked photo at just two and a half years old.  But I’m pretty confident that I didn’t get paid for this newborn session ;-)
