I am so glad you're here! This is my little corner where I get to share some of my most favorite images from engagements, weddings, births, my travels and my own little family from time to time. Hang out, look around, and please reach out to say hello!
You may not know it, but I’ve been photographing this family since Marett was pregnant with Jett in 2014 (and you can see their 3 sessions I’ve blogged right HERE!). We’ve done several sessions together and it has truly been a gift to document their lives and pieces of their story for the past 4 years. But since I only do those sessions for friends and family, they usually aren’t posted on the blog.
Until now, that is. I announced it in my newsletter a few weeks ago, but I’ll now be accepting a limited number of at-home newborn sessions this year. For a while those sessions have been reserved for my birth clients, but I’ve realized those photos aren’t for everyone and those weeks of having a newborn go by so fast!
You may take a look at sweet Rook and think he’s quite mature for a newborn (this little one is a boy after my own heart… and he likes to EAT!), but he was actually about a month old when we did his session (I mostly blame it on my family getting the stomach bug, but Marett was so gracious and was totally ok with him being a tad older when we rescheduled).
Enjoy some of my favorites from Rook’s session. Just like his older brother, he has some amazing facial expressions!
Also, I need to point out that dimple on Jett’s face as he grins up at his mama. SO CUTE!
These two right here are definite favorites… baby yawns and baby stares are the best.
All 4 looking and (mostly) smiling at the camera?!? That’s a win for sure.
Oh my heart. And look at him holding his head up!!
If you enjoyed this session, I am offering a limited number of at-home newborn sessions in 2018.
Please feel free to check out the collections HERE!
