She confided in me the night before the wedding at the rehearsal that she was nervous about the next day.  She wasn’t used to being the center of attention and there were going to be so many people there!  And the words that came out of my mouth came directly from God in that moment because I don’t always know what to say in any given situation.  I told her to just focus on Chris… when she walked down the aisle, as they said their vows, when they were pronounced husband and wife… just keep your eyes on Chris and everyone else will melt away.  Not a moment after that, Chris whispered in her ear to just think about the blue waters that they’d be seeing from their tiki hut in just a few short days.  I bet Tahiti never sounded so good to her!

But it’s one of the many reasons these two make such a good pair.  He just gets her.  He loves her, he gets her, they laugh well together, and they work well together.  So when family and friends came in from all over to celebrate with them, they came to have FUN!  The wedding party was a blast, both sets of families were so welcoming, and everyone had the time of their lives as they danced the night away.

Ashley and Chris, thank you so much for allowing us to document your wedding day for you.  It was beautiful and elegant and full of laughter and love.  I hope you’re enjoying your time in the South Pacific and soaking up some extra sun for me!
