I know what y’all are thinking… “Sabrina, you said you weren’t doing family portraits anymore!” And you’re right, but we’d been talking about this session for a while (before I decided to only focus on weddings) AND they’re friends. And we were able to do a few portraits of mom and dad, which fits into my regular work :-)
The other thing that I didn’t really notice until I was editing was how different this session turned out… I did shoot it a tad differently (more editorial/photojournalistic), but I think it mostly had to do with the 1950s style that Ryan pulled off, which Lydia complimented with her amazing navy striped dress. And then there’s Trystan… it’s actually him who stole the show. And please, can we talk about his hair??? I love it. And you will too. Enjoy my favorites!
Oh my stars…
This one is a favorite too.
Trystan was enthralled with the water.
Not my typical photo at all, but it speaks VOLUMES to what it’s like photographing children.
Oh my goodness, I love this one too.
Trystan just couldn’t keep his hands far from the water for long.
Be still my heart… (clearly I have an affinity for black and whites today!)
Lydia… just gorgeous.
Oh my lanta these photos are BEAUTIFUL. They… are beautiful
Oh my gosh, I am in love with these. I love the vintage journalistic look. Great job Sabrina! :)
