I woke up yesterday with a sore throat out of no where. It didn’t get worse during the day but it didn’t really get better either.  And while this is a minor set back compared to what so many are dealing with, I had to smile when I came across this image while editing a wedding…

It’s as if it was left there on purpose as a reminder… It was a simple verse on a simple white board in a simple classroom at my church where we shot Mandy & Kevin’s wedding (Part 1 & Part 2) at the beginning of the month.  The bride and groom were getting ready in other rooms and had nothing to do with this verse being where it was and when. But I couldn’t helped but be stopped by it. I’d actually completely forgotten about it until last night.  And it just seemed so fitting.

So, whatever you’re up to today, whatever might be standing in your way, whatever you believe, I hope you’re able to give thanks.
