Kathryn + Joseph | A Cliffs at Glassy Chapel and Mountain Park Wedding

She wanted a wedding with a view. And even though we were caught in a super short rain shower just before doing photos of Kathryn with her bridesmaids, the view was impeccable from the top of the mountain.

Kathryn and Joseph are one of the sweetest and genuine couples you will ever meet. And as soon as I met their families and friends, it was easy to see where they get it from. The surround themselves with others who encourage, build them up and will support them for a lifetime.

And you guys, even with the threat of storms, a couple of things not being “perfect” and seeing a snake that was a tad too close for comfort during their portraits after the ceremony (eek… I still get chills thinking about it!!), they took everything in stride and had a blast! Each time I was with them, they were chatting away about something that had just happened or filling the other in on something they had missed.

Kathryn and Joseph, thank you SO much for allowing me to be a part of your day. It was wonderful and beautiful and I hope these photos bring back the most wonderful memories from your first day as husband and wife!

I kept gushing over their details. I used to be completely against anything floral
or too “frilly” but I finally learned to embrace my femininity and can’t get enough!

Also, how beautiful is Kathryn’s mom?? I’m praying I look half as amazing when my own Catherine gets married (in 25 years or so!).

They chose to do their first look inside the chapel before anyone else came inside.
It was perfect and intimate and the light was beautiful!

I also can’t get over Joseph’s reaction and how well my second shooter, Christy Mason, captured it!!

The age difference between these two has had my mind reeling with all he’s experienced in life and wondering what all she will face in hers. It may be one of my most favorite candid moments I’ve ever been able to capture.
