Katie and Sam were taking a risk.  They live on the west coast and wanted to get married in Clemson, SC where they both had attended college.  Planning a destination wedding is not for the faint of heart!  Much less if it’s thousands of miles away.  But they had the most amazing family and vendors taking care of so much that day arrived and things were flawless!

The weather finally decided to become more fall-like on the day of their wedding and ALL of us were so thankful!  The air was crisp and the sun was shining, beautiful white clouds filled the sky and we were all a bit giddy over it.

And then… and then Katie put her dress on and the day became perfect.  As she walked out to see Sam for the first time she was tearing up before she even reached him.  He couldn’t believe his eyes but managed to hold things together for her sake.  Until they read their vows at the ceremony.  I think all of us had a few tears in our eyes at that point!

Katie and Sam, I can’t say thank you enough for allowing me to document your day.  I never take this lightly, but when I get to spend my days with couples like the two of you, it doesn’t feel like work at all!  I hope you’re having the most amazing time on the other side of the world and that you enjoy reliving your first day as husband and wife through your photos!
