First I’m able to photograph my nephew’s engagement photos and wedding (it’s soon!) and within a few months, I’ve also been able to photograph one of my cousin’s engagement photos and will get to capture their wedding in February!  I love my family anyway, but it’s SO much fun being able to be the one behind the camera for these incredible seasons.

Kelsey has been living in Atlanta for a while now and she and Remy actually met on a dating app… when Ben and I met through eHarmony in 2010, it seemed a tad crazy, but now it’s such a normal thing!  And I love it.

The three of us (and their dog, Karl) met up outside of Atlanta where Remy proposed.  Lullwater Park is such a beautiful and perfect train on the outskirts of Emory University and I loved getting a peek into one of the places they enjoy spending time.  Karl kept us on our toes because he thought we were just going for a walk when in reality, we were stopping every minute because I would see another “perfect spot”!

Karl may not have known what we were actually doing, but he was awesome in front of the camera!

After taking Karl home (and cooling off a bit!), we headed to Decatur Square, which is adorable!  There are several shops and more restaurants than you’d be able to hit up in a week.  I’m looking forward to going back for their wedding so I can hopefully try out their favorite brunch spot the day after their wedding!

A gazebo with stone steps, giant flower pots and beautiful columns?  Don’t mind if we do :-)
