I am so glad you're here! This is my little corner where I get to share some of my most favorite images from engagements, weddings, births, my travels and my own little family from time to time. Hang out, look around, and please reach out to say hello!
I don’t even know where to start… this wedding was something extra special. The day was full of laughter, love, fun, and worship. And not one detail was left out of any of it!
Mari Caroline is the third daughter to get married in the last couple of years and so her family has this wedding thing down to a science. Not only that, but they just flat out know how to throw a party! I’ve been blessed to know this family for the last 10 years and they are some of the kindest and welcoming people you will ever meet. And the best thing about this wedding was that Scott’s family is just the same. I met them for the first time on Saturday and from the moment we said hello, they welcomed me in like they’d known me for the past decade too.
When I walked into the room where all the girls were on Saturday, I couldn’t help but feel the excitement… so much so that I may have squealed with Mari Caroline about it being her wedding day! It was only a tad out of character, but after walking through engagements with my brides, I just can’t contain myself when their wedding day arrives! The guys were a bit more laid back and Scott was a little nervous, but he was ready. After exchanging notes and praying together they were down to less than an hour before they became husband and wife. And in Scott’s mind, I think that hour lasted much longer! But I think he would tell you that it was completely worth the wait.
You guys… thank you. Thank you for letting me be a part of this journey with you and for allowing us to celebrate with you on Saturday! The day was so full and there was so much to capture that you guys may be getting the longest wedding blog I’ve ever posted. I hope you’re having the time of your lives in Punta Mita and that you’re able to find some wi-fi to relive some of your wedding day!
These may be some of the most beautifully written invitations I’ve ever seen…
Even if we’ve done bridals and I’ve seen the bride in her dress already, there’s nothing more beautiful than a bride ON her wedding day.
Mari Caroline, you are stunning!
Her dad had done a first look with each of his daughters and it was time for one last First Look with his youngest…
This was a beautiful (and really fun!) group of ladies!
And these guys knew how to have a blast at any given moment!
I just can’t get over this photo of Scott with the ring bearers! I love it!
Are these not the most beautiful sisters you’ve ever seen?? Love you girls!
Oh, these families… You can’t help but love them.
There was no doubt that God was front and center the entire day…
Mari Caroline’s dad helped officiate the wedding, but he gave Scott a charge before walking his daughter down the aisle.
He could not believe his eyes!
Oh goodness… that light…
Indigo Hall is a gorgeous venue that is actually a blank canvas just waiting to be transformed. And transformed it was on Saturday.
I’ve been dying to show off all of these amazing details since I first saw it!
All of it was STUNNING!
And I don’t know that I’ve ever seen such a beautiful cake!
This is South Carolina, so toasting with sweet tea isn’t just acceptable, it’s a must!
Oh my gosh, this was amazing! The band was awesome, but their guest guitarist brought the house down ;-)
Thanks so much to all the wonderful vendors for making this day so amazing!
