I’m definitely getting my fill of babies recently and I love it!  Especially when it means I get to not only see my past wedding couples (check out MacKenzie and Scott’s gorgeous wedding HERE!), but I get to see them in their new role as parents.  And it may be one of the most precious things in life that I’m able to witness.

Yes, they are in love and full of joy and excitement on their wedding day, but watching them hold their first baby in their arms brings an entirely new level of love to the surface.  And to think, one day these babies will see these photos and not just how tiny they were, but how much their parents loved them from day 1!

MacKenzie and Scott are taking this new season in stride and are already amazing parents.  Max’s nursery is adorable and like every nursery I’ve seen recently, I just want to move right in!  I loved getting to see glimpses of past sessions with his parents tucked around their new house (MacKenzie’s plants that I first saw at their engagement session give me life!) and you’ll even spot a canvas from their wedding as you scroll through this post.

Everyone, I’d like you to meet Max.  He’s adorable!  He also isn’t afraid to let you know if and when he needs a modeling break during a session. But even during breaks, he’s precious!

He even let me see his eyes for a few minutes!
