I am so glad you're here! This is my little corner where I get to share some of my most favorite images from engagements, weddings, births, my travels and my own little family from time to time. Hang out, look around, and please reach out to say hello!
She arrived to the Daniel Chapel at Furman University and the nerves were there… but as she came inside and spent time with her girls that would stand beside her, the nerves started to visibly dissipate.
As we took the guys outside for their turn in front of the camera, he laughed and joked with his guys. But when I excited reminded him that he was getting married today, his demeanor changed. He looked to the side, smiled a soft smile, and I knew it was because he would soon get to see his bride.
Susanna and Andy, you have spent the last year waiting for this moment. There wasn’t a dry eye among your friends and family who surrounded you as Susanna walked into the church. I was able to keep my own tears back until Andy’s dad thanked Susanna for her support of his son, the love she showed him, and the sacrifices she made while he was deployed in Afghanistan for the last 9 months. We are so quick to thank our troops for what they do, but we don’t always remember to thank their families who are making sacrifices too. Thank you BOTH for how serve our country, but more importantly, thank you for loving each other and keeping your faith, your strength, and now your marriage in God’s hands.
It was truly an honor to be a part of your wedding this past Saturday. I’m so excited for you both and all of the adventure you have ahead of you!
A huge thanks to Mandy of Mandy Mayfield Photography for shooting with me on Saturday!!
Susanna’s niece and nephew were the flower girl and ring bearer… and they were super adorable!
The guys pulled off their “GQ Cover Model faces” really well.
The image on the left was Andy’s reaction to me excitedly saying, “You’re getting married today!”
The light coming through the window in the bride’s room was nothing short of perfection.
Susanna, my dear, you are beautiful.
It’s super difficult to NOT love these ladies!
Get it, girl!
This. Picture. Is. Amazing. Y’ALL are amazing!
I just love it…
I about fell out of my car when we drove up to the reception and saw that THIS was their getaway car!
Kathy… you out did yourself on this cake! It was beautiful!
And then everyone got out on the dance floor and didn’t leave until the end of the night!
