Rebekah + Connor | A Backyard Wedding | Greenville, SC

Her parents bought their family home before Rebekah was even born.  When her sister got engaged, I did her engagement photos in the backyard.  When Rebekah was graduating from high school, we did some of her senior pictures there too.  The 4 kids even all chipped in one time to give their parents an anniversary session and where did we do their photos?  At their home.

So when it was time to begin planning Bekah and Connor’s wedding, I’m pretty sure it took them about .5 seconds to decide on the location.  And it could NOT have been more perfect!  If you live in or around Greenville, you know it’s been quite a rainy spring.  And we were planning for a rainy wedding day.  Bekah was even excited about it because they would get to use the umbrellas that I have for such wedding days!  But believe it or not, there was not a gray cloud anywhere in the sky on their wedding day.  It was amazing!

As was Bekah and Connor’s first look.  He was all smiles when he turned around to see his bride, but could NOT believe his eyes.  He wanted to marry her right then and there!  It was the cutest and I’m still smiling just typing out those words :-)

Friends and family were nothing but smiles all day long and I’ve been itching to share these images all week!  So enjoy looking back on their day.  It was so wonderful and special and I’m so thankful to know such an amazing family.  Thank you guys for allowing me to capture your memories from your first day as husband and wife!

Succulents have such a special place in my heart since they were all my wedding bouquet was made of!

Bekah.  Stop it.  You’re so crazy beautiful.

This was Connor saying, “Let’s just get married right now!”

They took some time to share their personal vows during their first look… I’m kind of loving this new tradition!

It was completely Bekah’s idea to have each of her bridesmaids choose their own floor-length floral dress to wear for the wedding.
None of them shopped together.  Not one of them looks the same.  And how beautiful did they all turn out?!?!

I think I’ll be dreaming about these succulents for quite a while!

I did something a little crazy… I whisked them away for “sunset/twilight” photos and didn’t take any off-camera lighting.
Which means I was pushing my camera a lot and I’m in love with the results!

Many thanks to the incredibly talented vendors, family and friends for making Rebekah & Connor’s day so wonderful!
