When Angelina first contacted me about photographing their elopement, I wasn’t sure if she was serious or not.  Let’s just say I was hopefully ecstatic… as we talked over coffee when we met in person, I told her that marriage is a really big deal to me and I want nothing more for my couples […]

Almost 2 years to the day, I met Turner, Ben and Turner’s mom on Clemson’s campus to photograph Turner’s senior photos.  She had already walked across the stage and Ben was due for his diploma in December. They’d been dating for a little while, but they were still a year from getting engaged so I […]

Paris

When I walked into her parents’ house, Sarah was still doing some last minute things.  But for the most part, all the details had been taken care of, her bags were packed and ready to move, and all that was left to do were the finishing touches of her make-up and to put on her dress […]

You've spent MONTHS planning this amazingly beautiful event. Throughout the day, pause, look around, and soak in the moments. Yes, we will capture some incredible photos, but I also want you to have moments captured in your heart!

Soak up the day as it goes by

Your friends & family love you dearly and one of the biggest honors for each of them is when you trust them to help with such a special day. And truly, your vendors feel the same! Let your worry slide away & trust us to take care of you!

Trust your people & vendors.

The most important thing about your wedding day is becoming one with your new spouse!  Any small details that don't come together, while they were lovely, won't matter in the decades ahead of you. So let those go and enjoy your day!

Don't sweat the small stuff

The easiest way to begin your session is with a baby who has a fully tummy and a fresh diaper.  But don't stress over this!  If baby needs a snack during our session, that is 100% ok! I can easily use that time for photos of the nursery or older siblings.

Have baby fed & in fresh clothes.

I know you want these photos to be perfect. But the perfection comes as we let the moments unfold instead of forcing each and every photo we take. Let me guide you (& the new big brother/sister) and you'll love what we capture!

Let the magic happen.

This session is to freeze a blip in time and I don't want you to miss a moment of it! Your main job while I take photos and capture these memories is to love on and snuggle your newest bundle of joy.

Soak in your newborn.

And carry cute shoes with you for photos!
Truly, the best way to experience Paris is to walk the streets and explore as much as possible. The metro is handy but I advise walking as much as you can!

Pack the best walking shoes.

The second best way to experience the city is to find a seat and watch as Paris goes by.  There are many parks with chairs and benches to do just that.  And when you're ready for your next café crème, Paris cafés are incredible spots for people watching!

Find a seat and sit awhile.

Even if you aren't a morning person, strolling the streets of Paris before the rest of the city does is magical.  In some places, you'll feel as if you're the only one there!  It's also the best time of day for photos without lots of tourists.

Wake up for the sunrise.
