They’re the outdoorsy type of couple who enjoys the hikes, walks and adventures of finding an incredible view while wandering off the beaten path.  Or a delicious restaurant in a small town.  Or even the family day trip to pick apples or a catch a baseball game.

Johanna realized pretty early on that she and Thad would be friends.  I just don’t think she realized the first time they met that they would become best friends.  AND spend the rest of their lives together.

It was easy to see in our time together how much these two just enjoy being together!  And it makes me giddy to think how fun and joyful their fall wedding is going to be.  They told me how much they have to be thankful for and I’m excited to have a front row seat as they become one in November!

Thad told me it would be difficult to get a “real smile” out of him… thankfully this photo below proves that I won that challenge!
