It was the most perfect day for an outdoor wedding.  Her house was full of flowers for the wedding and reception, which took my breath away when we walked in!  No detail had been left out and it was clear that Rebecca and Robert’s families were as excited about this day as they were!

The tent for the reception stood bold and proud in the brilliant blue sky.  Her favorite tree was tall and strong with lovely white chairs set around it, waiting for their guests to arrive.

Emotions had already been spilling out in the forms of smiles and happy tears and as each moment passed, I thought, “How will the next minute get better than the last??”  And somehow, it did.

Rebecca and Robert, your day was truly perfect!  And the joy of spending it with you to capture each and every detail still brings me so much joy!

I hope you had the BEST honeymoon and that you enjoy reliving your first day as husband and wife as you scroll through some of my favorite images from your day!

The silhouette of the tree on their invitations is the same tree they were married under.

Rebecca wove pieces of legacy and her family throughout the details:
the veil has been passed around the family and the diamond in the necklace was her grandmother’s engagement ring.

Back to back reading notes may be my favorite alternative to seeing each other before the ceremony.

My favorite moment from each wedding is just after the ceremony when it hits the couple that they are husband and wife!

These ladies have been through a lot of life together and it was so fun seeing them again!
(I first met them at Ceci’s wedding 8 years ago!)
